Towards self-consumption
The new regulations have simplified and reduced the amount and complexity of the procedures to be carried out, and the IDAE has developed a detailed guide to help these professionals carry out all the necessary steps. The most important are:
- A feasibility study that analyzes the possibilities of our building, the budget of what the installation could cost and how much we could save in our specific case. For this, we may be asked for data on our electricity bills, since the consumption pattern determines how much we can save.
- Administrative procedures, which depending on the location and type may include building licenses or administrative authorizations, especially for larger installations or those located in buildings affected by some protection figure or in environmentally protected spaces.
- The installation itself, taking into account the energy regulations but also the safety of the facilities.
- Registration with the autonomous community and the corresponding notifications before the electricity distributor.
